MediaMonks partnered with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Board to produce an immersive experience for Chinese mall-goers. Watching a 180° dome-shaped screen while strapped into motion seats, the users embarked on an exhilarating 4D journey, witnessing Abu Dhabi from a soaring falcon's perspective.
Shooting this project, we had to keep the dome dimensions and 180 degrees view in mind - but to maintain flexibility we shot most of the footage 360 degrees.
Once framing was determined, we stitched and cleaned the footage and did multiple physical tests in the dome setup to ensure the best experience possible.
