Intel | History Comes Alive

This interactive installation projected a long animated film onto an ancient wall in China. This installation used Intel RealSense to create life-like facial models of participants, which are then mapped onto historical characters in a series of 3D-animated stories.

For this project we’ve created a couple films showing different Chinese legends, with characters without faces.
The participants faces were 3D scanned, rendered real time onto the empty faces and projected onto the wall - enabling some of the participants to become part of history.
